Traffic Engineer - PE Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Traffic / ITS Engineer to work remotely supporting various offices across the Midwest and Southwest regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support a team in delivering traffic analysis, safety studies, traffic simulation, and conceptual planning/design
• Prepare technical documentation including plans, specifications, estimates, and reports
• Coordinate with other disciplines and external clients while managing project tasks independently

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) License or Professional Traffic Operations Engineering (PTOE) License
• Preferred minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering related to traffic control design and ITS engineering
• Experience with traffic simulation software and design platforms
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
