Traffic Engineer with PE License

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Traffic / ITS Engineer to work remotely, supporting various offices across the Greater Midwest and Greater Southwest.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, and conceptual planning/design
• Produce project documentation including plans, specifications, estimates, and reports
• Coordinate with other discipline groups and assist in capturing project opportunities

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) License or Professional Traffic Operations Engineering (PTOE) License
• Preferred minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering fields related to traffic control and ITS engineering
• Experience using traffic simulation software and design platforms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
