Traffic Engineer with PE License

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Traffic / ITS Engineer to work remotely supporting various offices across the Greater Midwest and Greater Southwest.

Key Responsibilities

• Support traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, and design documentation
• Coordinate with teams and clients to deliver technical project documentation on schedule and budget
• Independently perform design tasks and mentor early career staff in technical work

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) License or Professional Traffic Operations Engineering (PTOE) License
• Preferred minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in traffic control design and ITS engineering
• Experience with Traffic and Traffic Simulation Software and design platforms
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team as required
