Traffic Engineer with PE License

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Traffic / ITS Engineer to work remotely supporting various offices across the Greater Midwest and Greater Southwest.

Key Responsibilities

• Support a team in traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, and project documentation
• Deliver technical deliverables while coordinating with other discipline groups and clients
• Independently complete primary design elements for engineering works and capture project opportunities

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) License or Professional Traffic Operations Engineering (PTOE) License
• Preferred minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering fields related to traffic control and ITS engineering
• Experience using Traffic and Traffic Simulation Software and design platforms
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team as required
