Traffic Project Engineer, PE

Job Summary

To support large transformative transportation projects, the full-time remote Traffic Project Engineer, PE will oversee traffic signal design, analyze traffic operations, and provide technical guidance to engineering teams across various high-value projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of traffic signal design, signal timing, signing, striping, lighting, and traffic control plans
• Supervise analysis, design, and implementation of corridor studies, traffic impact studies, and alternative intersection designs
• Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and lower-level Engineers working on projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in traffic/transportation engineering
• Proficiency in Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), and Signal Warrant studies
• PE Registration is required; PTOE certification is highly preferred
• Expertise in CAD software, with Microstation or AutoCAD proficiency preferred
