Training Associate for Volunteers

Job Summary

To support the Distributed Neighborhood Captains program, the part-time Training Associate for Volunteers will independently lead virtual trainings for volunteer captains across the country, engaging participants and adapting content delivery to various audiences while maintaining a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Bring energy and personality to every virtual training to motivate volunteers
• Assist in designing and refining training content and materials with the Training Manager
• Independently lead multiple live virtual trainings for volunteer captains across various states

Required qualifications

• Outgoing, charismatic, and comfortable presenting to a virtual audience
• Experience in theater, podcasting, teaching, customer service, or similar performance/people-facing work
• Time-flexible and reliable, able to commit to a varied training schedule including evenings and weekends
• Experience facilitating on virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
• Genuine enjoyment of teaching, coaching, or public speaking
