Job Summary
To support a growing grassroots initiative, the part-time Distributed Neighborhood Captains Training Manager will create and deliver engaging virtual training programs for volunteer captains, manage a small team of trainers, and ensure a flexible training calendar while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create compelling virtual trainings that engage and prepare neighborhood captains for their roles
- Co-design and continuously refine training curriculum and manage a shared resource library
- Lead live virtual trainings and coordinate scheduling for part-time staff to ensure coverage
Required qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience managing staff and volunteers in a campaign environment
- Strong training and facilitation skills, with a focus on emotional intelligence and empathy
- Experience in theater, podcasting, or micro-influencing is a plus
- Familiarity with rural communities and organizing within them
- Proven project management skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
