Transaction Monitoring Governance Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the execution and governance of the Transaction Monitoring program, the full-time salaried Transaction Monitoring Governance Manager will oversee control activities, lead issue remediation, and collaborate across various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute control activities and lead remediation of issues impacting the Transaction Monitoring program
• Perform coverage assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of automated and manual controls in detecting risks
• Establish and oversee control environments to identify and mitigate operational, compliance, and technology risks

Required qualifications

• Experience in Financial Crimes Compliance, AML Transaction Monitoring, or related risk and control functions within a large financial institution
• Strong knowledge of AML Transaction Monitoring processes, including coverage assessments and governance
• Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and issue management in a regulated environment
• Expertise in control documentation, design, testing, and ongoing oversight
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; CAMS or other relevant professional certifications are a plus
