Transcript Operations Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and experienced, the remote Transcript Operations Specialist will ensure the accuracy and quality of transcripts through proofreading, quality review, and coaching of scopists while promoting best practices in the production process.

Key responsibilities

• Proofread scoped transcripts for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with quality standards before final delivery
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to newly onboarded scopists to enhance their skills and improve transcript quality
• Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure adherence to established quality and accuracy standards in transcripts

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in scoping and proofreading transcripts
• Strong understanding of transcript production standards and quality assurance processes
• Proficiency in utilizing transcript management platforms for workflow tracking and editing
• Ability to identify quality trends and recommend process improvements
• Experience in mentoring or coaching team members in a collaborative environment
