Transfer Credit Evaluator

Job Summary

The full-time remote Transfer Credit Evaluator will manage the comprehensive evaluation of transfer coursework and non-traditional learning credits for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, ensuring accurate and timely transfer credit decisions that align with institutional policies and accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate official and unofficial transcripts for transferability and degree applicability, determining course equivalencies and transfer credit awards
• Maintain accurate transfer credit records and manage course equivalencies within the student information system and related databases
• Serve as a primary resource for students and faculty regarding transfer credit policies and collaborate with Admissions and academic departments to support transfer students

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Three or more years of professional experience in higher education, preferably in registrar services or transfer credit evaluation
• Experience interpreting academic records and degree requirements
• Proficiency with student information systems and Microsoft Office products
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
