Transfer Evaluation Specialist

Job Summary

To support the university's mission, the full-time Transfer Evaluation Specialist will evaluate the transferability of various types of credits, including traditional, military, and nontraditional credits, while ensuring compliance with university policies and maintaining high-quality standards in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Completes unofficial and official transfer estimates and transcript evaluations for prospective and returning students
• Maintains a metrics score of 95% or higher for quality assurance and timeliness while managing fluctuating workloads
• Utilizes the College Source Transfer Evaluation System to evaluate and update credit equivalencies accurately

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university
• Two years of experience in higher education
• Two years of direct experience evaluating transcripts, military credits, and alternative credits
• Strong knowledge of FERPA and accreditation standards
• Demonstrated ability to comply with state and federal regulations related to credit evaluation
