Transition Assistant
Job Summary
Supporting the Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance, Construction, and Planning (FEMC-P) transition activities, the full-time remote Transition Assistant will manage documentation, coordinate with operational teams, and assist in planning and execution to ensure a seamless contract transition for the Antarctic Science and Engineering Support Contract.
Key responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of FEMC-P transition activities
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and tracking transition-related documentation and data
- Maintain transition schedules, action-item trackers, and status reports related to FEMC-P activities
Required qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in project support, administrative coordination, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
