Translation Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Translation Manager to lead and mentor a team of translators while driving localization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of approximately ten translators, conducting performance reviews and coordinating workloads
• Develop and implement a comprehensive translation strategy aligned with global growth and content goals
• Directly contribute to translation workflow, ensuring high-quality localization of complex chess terminology

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in a translation management or team lead role
• Fluency in English and native or near-native fluency in at least one other language
• Proven familiarity with chess terminology and concepts
• Expert-level proficiency with CAT tools and knowledge of SEO principles for localized content
