Translation Project Manager
Job Summary
Overseeing document translation projects, the fully remote Translation Project Manager will ensure the timeliness and accuracy of client deliverables while managing freelance linguists and serving as the primary contact for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Scope and quote jobs for existing clients while working East Coast Time Zone hours
- Recruit, schedule, and manage freelance linguists and project resources to meet client needs
- Ensure quality control for project deliverables and take corrective action as necessary
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Full working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- High-level understanding of TMS workflow and Translation Memory (TM) tools
- Working knowledge of Desktop Publishing Tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Quark)
- Fluent in English, with foreign language skills being a definite plus
