Job Summary

A company is looking for a Translation Specialist Document-Based Nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate a variety of handwritten, typed, and recorded materials into precise English
• Apply DEA or legal document formatting standards to ensure compliance with evidentiary requirements
• Preserve cultural idioms and linguistic nuances in translations while maintaining accurate records of translated materials

Required Qualifications

• ILR Level 3+ proficiency in English and at least one foreign language
• Proven experience translating legal or law enforcement documents, particularly for DEA operations
• Strong understanding of regional dialects and cultural nuances in source materials
• Proficiency in translation software and formatting tools such as Trados or Adobe Acrobat
• Eligibility for U.S. Government security clearance and compliance with federal confidentiality protocols
