Translational Medicine Senior Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Translational Medicine Sr. Director to drive biomarker and translational strategy for a lead metabolic program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the translational strategy across preclinical and clinical development for the metabolic program
• Develop and prioritize biomarker and MOA hypotheses in collaboration with pre-clinical teams
• Analyze and interpret clinical and translational data to guide program decisions

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent advanced degree in pharmacology, biomedical sciences, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in translational medicine or biomarker strategy within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• At least 5 years focused on metabolism or metabolic disease programs, including experience in obesity and diabetes
• Proven track record of leading translational programs from discovery through clinical development
• Strong understanding of PK/PD principles and biomarker development in drug development
