Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Engineer to join their Transmission & Distribution group.

Key Responsibilities

Design high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD software
Facilitate collaboration among project team members and act as client contact to determine project scope
Develop construction documents including project design criteria, drawings, and specifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school
Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience, with at least 1 year in Transmission Line Engineering
EIT certification required; ability to obtain PE licensure within 2 years preferred
Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred
Previous experience with or for a Utility is highly preferred
