Transmission Line Designer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Transmission Line Designer IV, this role involves performing transmission line design using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE, developing project drawings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, with the flexibility to work remotely or from various U.S. or Canadian office locations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform transmission line design and develop project drawings and documents
• Ensure designs meet project specifications and company quality standards
• Mentor and train designers/technicians while contributing to internal design procedures

Required qualifications

• Associates or technical school degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in transmission line engineering design
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE
• Knowledge of design codes, standards, and guidelines such as NESC and ASCE 7
• Authorization for full-time work in the United States
