Transmission Line Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Transmission Line Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on designing high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD software, collaborating with project teams, and developing construction documents.

Key responsibilities

• Design high voltage transmission lines and develop construction documents, including project design criteria and drawings
• Facilitate collaboration with project teams and act as the primary client contact to determine project scope and requirements
• Estimate construction costs and specify materials while coordinating specific design aspects of projects

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in Transmission Line Engineering or a related field
• PE license or the ability to acquire one within 6 months is highly preferred
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred
• Previous experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred
