Transmission Line Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking an OE Transmission Line Engineer, the full-time position offers a hybrid or remote work environment and involves leading transmission line project designs, ensuring compliance with client standards, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead project discussions with clients and project teams while overseeing transmission line design
- Review client submittals and comprehensive construction packages for constructability and compliance
- Coordinate feasibility studies and oversee project implementation, ensuring proper verification of installations
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
- 4+ years of experience in transmission line design
- In-depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standards
- High proficiency in PLS-CADD
- Experience in electrical utility or utility consulting is strongly preferred
