Transmission Line Engineer PE
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Transmission Line Engineer PE, the successful candidate will design high voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD software, collaborate with project teams, and develop construction documents while ensuring client requirements are met.
Key responsibilities
- Design high voltage transmission lines and develop associated construction documents
- Facilitate collaboration between project team members and act as the primary client contact
- Estimate construction costs and specify materials for projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in Transmission Line Engineering
- PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months is highly preferred
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred
- Previous experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred
