Job Summary

A company is looking for a Transmission Planning and Interconnection Study Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform power system analysis and network modeling to meet client specifications
  • Conduct studies related to generator connections, voltage stability, and power station design
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and manage client relationships to ensure timely delivery
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; preferred master's degree in Power Systems Engineering
  • Experience with PSS/E, including power flow and transient stability analyses
  • Knowledge of electric power systems, including generators and power electronic inverters
  • Familiarity with transmission studies and software such as TARA, PSLF, or DigSILENT
  • Understanding of reliability and interconnection processes in transmission systems
