Job Summary
Supporting the development and optimization of linear project routes, the remote Transmission Routing Analyst will compile and analyze constraints, develop routing alternatives, and prepare project deliverables as part of a 1-year contract assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze environmental, land use, engineering, permitting, and constructability constraints
- Develop routing alternatives using company routing tools and geospatial systems
- Prepare reports and project deliverables, supporting project teams through early-stage development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science, Planning, GIS, or related field preferred
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in electric transmission, natural gas pipeline, or other linear infrastructure projects
- Experience using geospatial tools and data for evaluating routing opportunities and project feasibility
- Knowledge of electric transmission development and renewable energy generation projects is a plus
- Experience in utility routing and siting, pipeline routing, or environmental permitting
