Transplant Data Manager

Job Summary

Leading initiatives for quality and performance improvement, the full-time Manager Transplant Data & Performance Improvement will oversee data collection, manage multidisciplinary teams, and drive change within the transplant department in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee data collection and ensure accuracy for transplant referrals, candidates, living donors, and recipients while maintaining compliance with UNOS and CMS
• Lead and develop team members to align departmental goals with organizational objectives, fostering a collaborative environment
• Proactively assess and implement change initiatives, ensuring clear communication of roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline or an Associate's degree with significant experience
• Five years of progressive experience in a related field with a Bachelor's degree or ten years with an Associate's degree
• Experience with data entry and data analytics; familiarity with CIBMTR or NMDP is preferred
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and budget management
• Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively across various levels of the organization
