Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Coordinator - Transplant.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient demographic and financial information for transplant services and perform financial counseling
• Coordinate communication between patients, clinical teams, and insurance companies to ensure accurate financial clearance and billing
• Prepare financial packets and assist patients with financial plans and authorizations for transplant evaluations and treatments

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; advanced degree preferred
• Three years of healthcare experience, including one year in insurance verification, authorization, or billing
• One year of experience with a transplant or chemotherapy program preferred
• Membership with the Transplant Financial Coordinators Association may be required
• Certification with the Transplant Financial Coordinators Association may be required
