Transport Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking two high-performing Transport Engineers for a remote contract position, who will execute core engineering functions using ISPEC, manage facility decommissioning, and collaborate cross-functionally to support critical Data Center projects while driving substantial cost savings.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end Transport Engineering functions, including the generation and management of ISPECs for network re-routing and equipment decommissioning
• Proactively manage site exit timelines, resolving technical and circuit-level bottlenecks to ensure timely facility shutdowns
• Collaborate with Planning, Project Management, and Field Operations to align engineering deliverables with corporate milestones

Required qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in Transport Network Engineering and Circuit Design, with proficiency in generating and managing ISPECs
• Demonstrated experience in decommissioning and facility exit management, including managing lease-exit deadlines and resolving network dependencies
• Strong collaborative skills to effectively coordinate with Transport Planning, Regional PMs, and Network Operations
