Transport Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical guidance and project management, the remote contract Transport Engineer - Interconnect will focus on executing transport network projects related to NNI and Access leaf interconnects, including capacity management and project oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical plans for increasing NNI capacity and monitor access leaf port usage
• Create and manage associated projects, including cutting purchase orders
• Provide technical guidance and project management for national transport network initiatives

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Transport engineering role within the cellular/telecommunications industry
• Experience managing capacity on EBH networks and designing network diagrams
• Understanding of wireless network technologies, including switching and RF
• Proficient with Google suite of productivity tools and familiar with EBH reporting and SevOne tools
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience required
