Transport Network Architect

Job Summary

Transport Network Architect, responsible for designing and overseeing end-to-end optical transport network architectures in a full-time remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement optical transport network architectures, focusing on Flex Grid DWDM systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate interoperability and support deployment in diverse environments
• Drive alignment across hardware, software, and ecosystem strategies for scalable network solutions

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Flex Grid DWDM systems and disaggregated optical architectures
• Knowledge of Open ROADM specifications and SDN concepts
• Strong understanding of coherent optics, modulation schemes, and line impairments
• Ability to perform tradeoff analysis considering cost, performance, and scalability
• Experience working collaboratively in a remote environment
