Transport Planning Engineer

Job Summary

To support the growth of transport network solutions, the full-time Transport Planning Engineer will plan, schedule, and report on a high volume of projects while working remotely to enhance existing network infrastructure and implement additional bandwidth for new services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and report on project progress using tools like Quickbase, Jira, and Tableau
• Work with existing network infrastructure, including DWDM and MPLS, to enhance service capabilities
• Create job packages that include technical instructions and methods of procedures

Required qualifications

• College degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3-5 years of professional level experience in engineering or 7+ years of related technical experience
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
• Proficiency in operation support systems (NGMSS or equivalent design systems)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
