Job Summary
Identifying and developing freight brokerage opportunities, the full-time remote Transportation Account Developer will manage client relationships, expand transportation services beyond traditional offerings, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize customer value.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new freight brokerage opportunities with prospective customers across various industries
- Partner with internal teams to uncover untapped transportation opportunities within existing customer relationships
- Manage freight opportunities from initial prospecting through execution and ongoing relationship management
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of freight brokerage sales, business development, or brokerage operations experience
- Demonstrated success in growing gross profit and freight volume
- Cradle-to-grave brokerage experience preferred
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), preferably MercuryGate
- Strong understanding of freight markets, pricing, and transportation operations
