Transportation Clerk

Job Summary

Working fully remote, the full-time hourly Transportation Clerk will track and trace freight shipments, communicate updates to customers, and resolve issues related to logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Tracking and tracing freight for over-the-road and rail shipments using a web-based program
• Communicating and updating customers through various channels, including direct calls and Teams messaging
• Utilizing critical thinking to handle and resolve issues, such as driver breakdowns, while coordinating solutions

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Strong customer service skills
• Capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
