Transportation Lead
Job Summary
Managing all aspects of transportation channels, the full-time Transportation Lead will develop vendor relationships, track transportation performance, and initiate cost-saving projects while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and drive the freight forecast in collaboration with Supply Planning and Sales teams
- Manage transportation plans with freight vendors to meet stakeholder needs effectively and cost-efficiently
- Prepare trend analysis on logistics data to identify opportunities for performance improvements and cost savings
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience in progressively responsible roles
- 5+ years of experience managing complex supply chain operations
- Supply Chain Management or related degree and/or certification preferred
- Experience with MRP, purchasing, and distribution systems and software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
