Transportation Load Planner

Job Summary

Transportation Load Planner, responsible for the daily planning of inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring efficient and cost-effective loads, in a full-time day shift position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage transportation needs using the transportation management system and prepare daily work schedules
• Ensure timely delivery of rush and specialty orders while monitoring load plan optimization
• Coordinate with internal drivers and external carriers for the movement of materials and track deliveries

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Transportation Planning or Supply Chain Management
• Knowledge of principles and costs for moving materials by road
• Strong MS Office Skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to use transportation software and work independently with minimal supervision
