Transportation Modal Performance Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time salaried basis, the Manager of Transportation Modal Performance will oversee the North America transportation strategy, focusing on vendor performance KPIs, data integrity, and service delivery across various freight modes.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage vendor KPIs, ensuring accurate data capture for performance metrics
• Conduct performance improvement strategies and manage operational escalations related to vendor service
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer reporting and manage new project initiatives

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in carrier procurement and logistics/operations
• Bachelor's degree required
• Solid understanding of transportation carrier/service provider contracts across all modes
• Familiarity with TMS platforms and reporting tools such as Tableau
• Availability to travel 5-10% of the time
