Transportation Operations Planner

Job Summary

To optimize drayage and intermodal operations, the full-time Transportation Operations Planner will coordinate and plan freight movements efficiently while working remotely and occasionally visiting terminals and ports.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and optimize drayage and intermodal shipments to meet customer requirements
• Monitor container availability and port operations to minimize delays
• Analyze transportation data and trends to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience in drayage, intermodal logistics, or transportation planning
• Strong knowledge of intermodal transportation and port operations
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and load planning software
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and industry compliance requirements
