Transportation Planner

Job Summary

Working remotely on weekends, the part-time Transportation Planner will execute transportation and logistics processes, including planning shipments, communicating with carriers and customers, and resolving issues to ensure efficient freight movement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation for various customer accounts to meet service expectations
• Foster collaborative connections with internal teams, external customers, and carrier partners
• Monitor market trends to inform planning and decision-making while ensuring compliance with regulations

Required qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Office programs for communication and spreadsheets
• Experience providing customer service and conflict resolution
• Experience in dispatching or planning within the Transportation/Logistics industry
• Experience with logistics or supply chain management software
• Experience analyzing data to drive work optimization
