Transportation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Transportation Specialist responsible for analyzing and improving transportation processes and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze data from transportation management systems to improve delivery performance and cost efficiency
• Evaluate and optimize transportation network delivery accuracy and recommend strategies for cost reduction
• Develop transportation-related databases and KPIs to support decision-making and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accountancy, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in transportation or logistics
• Experience with small package, LTL, and TL transportation environments
• Familiarity with preparing and responding to RFPs and RFQs in a transportation context
• Ability to present information effectively to various organizational levels
