Transportation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Transportation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage load plans and address real-time logistics challenges for dairy logistics
• Monitor hauler performance and compliance while collaborating with leadership for service improvements
• Stay updated on industry developments and facilitate accurate hauler payments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation, business or related field preferred, but not required for an exceptionally qualified candidate
• 2-5 years of experience in transportation operations/dispatch, procurement, safety, or regulatory compliance
• Moderate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and/or Power BI
• Dairy industry experience and knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations preferred
