Job Summary

Leading the strategic direction and technical excellence of the Practice Area, the full-time remote Transportation Technical Director will manage quality standards, drive innovation, and foster client relationships to ensure exceptional outcomes and organizational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and oversee technical standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks to ensure consistent delivery of client outcomes
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute growth strategies, aligning technical capabilities with market opportunities and client needs
• Lead and mentor Technical Managers and professionals, promoting accountability for technical quality and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred, along with relevant professional licensure or certifications
• 12-15 years of progressive experience in consulting, engineering, or related technical disciplines, with leadership responsibility
• Proven track record in developing technical capabilities and driving strategic growth in a professional-services environment
• Strong understanding of business operations and client engagement, with experience in executive-level relationships
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
