Trauma Informatics Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Informatics Specialist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Identify patients for the trauma registry and maintain daily tracking reports
• Abstract and analyze medical data throughout all phases of patient care
• Ensure timely data validation and prepare submissions for various trauma registries

Required Qualifications

• A.A./A.S. in a healthcare-related field OR Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
• 2 years of demonstrated experience in Trauma Registry
• Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and injury severity scoring
• Experience with data management and medical terminology
• Completion of the American Trauma Society's Trauma Registry Course or ability to complete within 1 year
