Trauma Program Manager
Job Summary
Managing all aspects of trauma registry projects, the full-time Trauma Program Manager will coordinate operations, provide training to Trauma Abstractors, and ensure high-quality data abstraction while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees abstracting and registry operations to meet project goals and compliance with regulatory agencies
- Conducts staff training on data abstraction software and monitors validation compliance for assigned projects
- Prepares weekly reports on project activities and identifies staffing needs based on workload
Required qualifications
- At least five years of trauma abstraction experience
- Completion of Trauma ICD 10 Coding Course, Trauma Registry Course, and AAAM AIS Coding Course
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data abstraction software systems
- Associate's Degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related field
- Successful completion of the Registry Partners pre-employment Skills Assessment Exam for assigned specialty area(s)
