Job Summary
Supporting the Trauma Program Manager, the full-time Trauma Program Registrar will ensure compliance with ACS-COT standards, manage trauma registry data collection and documentation, and facilitate performance improvement processes, with the option to work remotely or onsite in Anchorage.
Key responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes patient care outcome data, making recommendations for trauma program improvements
- Coordinates performance improvement processes to support ACS verification and compiles reports from the Trauma Registry
- Collaborates with various departments to ensure accurate data submission and documentation in compliance with state and trauma program requirements
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Less than two years of professional experience in nursing, medical records, or health-related fields
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with trauma registry processes and standards
