Trauma Program Registrar

Job Summary

Supporting the Trauma Program Manager, the full-time Trauma Program Registrar will ensure compliance with ACS-COT standards, manage trauma registry data collection and documentation, and facilitate performance improvement processes, with the option to work remotely or onsite in Anchorage.

Key responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes patient care outcome data, making recommendations for trauma program improvements
• Coordinates performance improvement processes to support ACS verification and compiles reports from the Trauma Registry
• Collaborates with various departments to ensure accurate data submission and documentation in compliance with state and trauma program requirements

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Less than two years of professional experience in nursing, medical records, or health-related fields
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Familiarity with trauma registry processes and standards
