Job Summary

A company is looking for a Registrar.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Collector Trauma Registry database for trauma patients
• Analyze and interpret data from various sources to ensure accurate trauma registry records
• Compile and submit statistical reports to relevant state and national trauma systems

Required Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited program in Health Information Technology or possess a high school diploma with 3 years of trauma registry experience
• Complete AAAM coding course and ATS Trauma Registry course within 1 year of hire
• Minimum one year of experience in a Health Information Management department
• Preferred completion of RHIT or RHIA certification
• Previous experience with trauma registry/database systems is preferred
