Trauma Registrar

Job Summary

Managing the computerized trauma registry, the full-time Trauma Registrar will collect and enter data, develop reports, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of trauma data while working remotely during regular business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and coordinate initial trauma data entry and follow-up data for registry patients
• Function as the system manager of the trauma registry, monitoring data quality and participating in quality assurance committees
• Interpret medical data to evaluate patient responses to treatment and identify complications, utilizing various data analysis techniques

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with trauma registries and data management
• Knowledge of injury severity scores and survival analysis techniques
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes in healthcare
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding registry data
