Job Summary

To support the Emergency General Surgery and Trauma Registries, the full-time remote Trauma II Registrar will manage data entry, including injury and procedural coding, while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and assisting with trauma training center courses.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enter patient discharge dates in the Trauma Registry
• Assist with daily identification of trauma admit patients
• Complete categorization of patients in the M & M database for financial reporting

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• AAAIM Coding Course Certification
• ATS Registry Course Certification
• No supervisory experience required
