Travel Communications Manager

Job Summary

To support strategic communications for American Express Travel and its Cobrand portfolio, the full-time Manager, Travel & Cobrand Communications will develop and execute communication strategies, manage media relations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies to support business objectives for American Express Travel and Cobrand
• Lead the creation and approval of internal and external communication materials, including press releases and messaging documents
• Manage social influencer campaigns and identify newsworthy opportunities to promote American Express Travel and Cobrand Cards

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of PR experience, particularly in the premium travel industry
• Proven ability to influence and counsel internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in developing and executing successful communications and influencer marketing strategies
• Strong media relations experience with a track record of managing storytelling with various press outlets
• Ability to manage confidential information and demonstrate excellent judgment
