Job Summary
Owning escalation management across various travel channels, the full-time remote Travel Operations Specialist will support customer success by resolving complex booking issues and ensuring high-quality service during high-stakes situations.
Key responsibilities
- Document and manage internal escalations, creating SOPs to prevent recurring issues
- Monitor multiple queues for automation errors and cancellations, adjusting priorities in real time
- Communicate with airlines, hotel providers, and customers to resolve escalated concerns efficiently
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or back-of-house airline or travel agency role
- Proficiency with Sabre as the primary GDS, with knowledge of Amadeus and Travelport
- Solid understanding of fares, ticketing rules, and NDC/portal-based products
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills; French bilingualism is a plus
- Familiarity with ticketing procedures across air, hotel, and ground transportation
