Treaty Developer

Job Summary

To support the development of complex reinsurance treaties, the full-time remote Treaty Developer will research, design, and produce treaty documents while ensuring compliance with legal standards and client agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Research and create complex reinsurance treaties, ensuring they accurately reflect negotiated agreements and comply with regulations
• Conduct peer reviews of documents prepared by other associates to ensure quality and adherence to guidelines
• Maintain client relationships and facilitate the resolution of treaty issues through effective communication and collaboration

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences or Paralegal Degree, or equivalent experience in insurance, reinsurance, or law
• 5+ years of legal, commercial contract, or document drafting experience
• Advanced Microsoft Word skills and basic Excel and Outlook skills
• Ability to comprehend and compose highly complex treaty language
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
