Triage Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Triage Specialist- Part-Time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage referral triage by reviewing and uploading case referrals for potential case management intervention
• Create and maintain cases in software systems while ensuring accurate data entry and documentation
• Coordinate Stop Loss notifications for potential high-dollar claims and support nurse case managers with administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in business, management, or a related field
• Prior experience in customer service and/or a medical background
• Experience in medical front office, hospital patient intake, or medical claims processing
• Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Accurate data entry skills with a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute
