Combining veterinary medical knowledge with customer service expertise, the full-time remote Trilingual Veterinary Claims Specialist will assess pet insurance claims in English, French, and German, ensuring accurate and timely decisions while navigating complex scenarios with empathy and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Review veterinary medical records and policy information to evaluate claim eligibility and outcomes
- Conduct secondary claim reviews during the appeals process, providing clear communication of claim rationale
- Investigate complex claims by gathering and validating relevant medical and policy information
Required qualifications
- Professional working proficiency in English, and fluency in both German and French
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing veterinary, animal health, or pet insurance environment
- Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology and common diagnostic procedures
- Experience in reviewing medical records or claims adjudication is considered an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to navigate multiple systems
